Touvay · Visual Identity
touvay
The invisible layer that helps you say exactly what you mean.
01 — The Idea
A single human gesture: your voice, lifted.
The mark is an inflection — the gentle rising curve of a warm, confident sentence. It begins at a single point and lifts into clear expression. Not a machine. A gesture.
A drawn stroke keeps the human at the centre. Touvay never takes the credit — you do.
The turning point mirrors the product: one message, refined into the right register.
Buried in the name is motion and the second person. Your words, moving forward.
02 — Construction & Geometry
Drawn by hand, held to the grid.
- Grid field
- 120 × 120
- Origin dot
- c(26, 87) · r 6.6
- Stroke path
- M41 81 C58 83 73 48 98 43
- Stroke weight
- 11 · round cap
- Dot Ø : weight
- 1.2 (optical)
- Overall rise
- ≈ 33.7°
- Curvature
- one subtle inflection
- Terminal
- lifts off, never closes
03 — Optical Corrections
What the ruler says versus what the eye sees.
The dot is 20% larger
A circle the width of the stroke reads lighter. 1.2× makes the two feel like one weight.
Warmth over sharpness
Round terminals echo the dot and hold true under engraving and foil, where sharp tails chip.
Heavier below 24px
The favicon cut adds weight and widens the gap so it reads as a mark, never a blob.
04 — Scaling Behaviour
Sixteen pixels to billboard, one silhouette.
Rendered at true size — the heavier cut takes over at 24px and below.
05 — Icon, Mono & Theme
The same stroke, everywhere.
06 — Colour
Warm ink, warm paper, one quiet voice.
07 — Typography
A humanist voice, an engineered caption.
Say it like you mean it.

08 — Motion
The dot arrives. The line grows. It rests.
- Origin — The dot settles in with a whisper of overshoot — never a bounce.
- The rise — The stroke grows from the dot along its path, one confident gesture.
- Rest — Full stop. No loop, no glow. Calm technology holds still.
09 — Protecting the Mark
A few firm rules.
Keep the single weight, round caps, and the breathing gap to the dot.
Never stretch or condense the proportions.
Never rotate. The rise reads left-to-right, always forward.
A single human gesture in warm ink — no trend, no gradient, no glow. Built to still feel inevitable in 2046.
